Hey guys! So, since I spent my entire night packing, traveling, and unpacking, I'd say it was the fastest pack/unpack yet.
Here are some things that I've learned along the way.
- Pack the little things first. Anything that you know won't be able to fit into the suitcase. For me, it was my shoes, accessories, and makeup/skin products.
- Fit everything else into the suitcase, but make sure to properly fold everything first. I have yet to learn how to maximize the space in a suitcase, but I usually go with the throw in everything I need, and see how much I need to squeeze in and refold and place until it all fits method. But by the end, everything ends up being layered in a sort of domino effect/spiral staircase manner.
- Go through the entire contents of your room and double check, physically go through every drawer/closet/ basket that you own. Make sure that everything essential is with you. (Almost forgot my pajamas if it weren't for this).
- For unpacking, it's a trickier situation. I found that all my bags filled up most of my room and I found that unpacking whatever took up the most space would go back first. Then it was a matter of what would be easiest to put back.
What are some of your packing and unpacking tips?
