the primer i just had to try...

Ever since I was introduced to the blogging world, I've heard nothing but good things about Benefit's the Porefessional primer. The price tag always was the reason for why I never tried it, and since I have never used a primer, I didn't want to go all out on something I had never tried.
But a few weeks ago, when I did some online shopping at Ulta, I choose to have some makeup samples sent along with my purchase. To my surprise, the porefessional was one of them! I was so excited to try it that I used it the next time I wore makeup.

The sample's packaging was so cute, I was in love with the product already. From what I've seen, Benefit always has cute packaging, so it's always nice to just look at.
The sample lasted me about 3 uses. I applied barely a pea-sized amount, and focused the primer on my nose and outward, like the sample suggested. I wasn't so focused on the lasting power because makeup tends to last well enough for me not to care to reapply. What …

the hand lotion i can't get enough of...

Ever since last year, I've become hand lotion obsessed. I love me some body lotion, and in the past, I would just use the excess for my hands and go on with my day. I never really thought to use a separate lotion for my hands, until I needed a new use for my make-shift moisturizer. So after I learned that I need to use an actual moisturizer, I used the lotion for what it was for and used it on my hands since they were drier than I would like (it was an especially cold winter).  Long story short, I wanted to try all different hand lotions, seeking for the best, and just to try because I had really started blogging then and I just love to give everything a shot. One day I was shopping my hallway closet for more body lotions to try, and came across the True Blue Spa han…

Maybelline's "The Rocket" Mascara Review

Hey guys! I recently used up The Rocket mascara from Maybelline so it's time to tell you my thoughts about it.  First of all, let's talk packaging. Classic Maybelline style: simple with a pop of color. The cute little fire in front of the name is fitting (Cause it's like a rocket taking off, get it?) and if you think about it, the tube shape is sort of like a rocket too (but it's a stretch). Overall, I like it!

The brush is neat because the bristles (is that what you call them?) are super short! But I guess that's how the lengthening is possible. Before I even properly used the mascara, I had high expectations. First of all, I have only used Maybelline mascaras so I assumed I would love it. Secondly, my sister had used this on me for prom and I loved the results.  But here's where it gets tricky. It did everything it says on the tin: crazy long lashes that is waterproof. I loved it! My lashes are naturally pretty long but I love me a long lash and when my lashes re…
