Today's post is all about those spot concealers. I've been using these for a long time, way before I started to really use foundation. That being said, I still use the same few drugstore ones. I like the stick kind for spot concealers because it's what I've always done and using a liquid spot concealer is just weird to me. Anyway, this month I'm using the Rimmel Hide the Blemish concealer.
The Bad: It can be a bit too drying, so putting it over actual scabbing (ew) is a no-no, but to cover up the red, it's hard to avoid.
The Good: I do find that this covers the red, like it says on the tin. I wear it with a lighter coverage since I blend with my stippling brush, but it's buildable and probably more so if it's patted in with your finger. Also, for desperate times come desperate measures, and I've used this several times for a foundation, so yay for multi-use products!
