#ProjectPan March 2017

Wow, the month flew by and I started to get a good gage of how often a product takes to finish. I also learned that I just can't let some things go. I had hoped to finish more products, but my list isn't that shabby.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Long Last Shine Control Daily Scrub: As far as shine control is concerned, I always used this at night, so I don't know how well it actually controls shine. The scrubbing wasn't too harsh and it truly was gentle enough to use daily. It might have been a tad bit drying, but my moisturizer balanced things out so I didn't mind.

It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream: This moisturizer is amazing. I've heard customers and co-workers mention how amazing it is but I only just got the chance to try it. The packaging was in a pot, and as those products go, I tend to use it sparingly until I'm packing the product on until it's gone. I found it super hydrating and my skin felt super soft in the morning. I'd still have to put a little bit on in the morning, but accidental over-application seems impossible at night. I totally recommend this.

Maybelline Coverstick Concealer: I actually didn't use this over the past month. I just decided that it's used up enough and even if there is more to use, it'd be unsanitary. Overall, I liked using this product. Maybe a little too light for me and a bit hard to blend, but it did the job with covering spots and scars and such. Not necessarily recommend, but you can give it a try!

Benefit Fake Up Concealer: This was just a sample, but I think I got a good idea of how the product works. I used this as an under-eye concealer. The color was medium, as generic, and I probably would use a lighter color, but overall, I liked it. The coverage was good and it lasted a while and didn't crease, which is all the things I look for in a concealer. I don't know if I'd buy it again, but it was nice.

Urban Decay Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Primer: This again is a sample. Besides the original, this is my favorite. I felt as if it evens the coverage on the lids, and blended so smoothly that I felt as if was helping my skin. Plus it made my shadow last all day and didn't crease and that's what matters, right??

Benefit They're Real Mascara Primer: I freaking love this stuff. First off, the mink color is perfect because it doesn't make it obvious that you're wearing a primer (they're usually white). I also think it's similar to the mascara as it separates the lashes and lengthens them. As my first mascara primer, it was a great experience. I totally would buy this again.

Ulta Volumizing Mascara: This is a sample that was inside a gift with purchase and the actual mascara isn't available, which is unfortunate because it's not a bad mascara. It truly did volumize and lengthen slightly. It was a more natural look, but I really enjoyed it. My only complaint is that it tended to run. The good thing is that Ulta has a few volumizing mascaras so it's always worth a shot to try it.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss in Runway Red: It was a sticky gloss that actually lasted hours. The color wasn't my favorite, but only because I'm getting sick of red... I'd definitely get this is a nude color for sure.

Bare Minerals Lip Gloss in Trail Blazer: This is a similar gloss to the Buxom glosses, the minty-ness makes me question if it's plumping, but it lasts for hours and leaves sparkles. I'm a fan of it. Would buy again.

Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick in Bittersweet: The color wasn't for me. but the formulation is amazing. Totally layerable and lasts hours.

Ulta Matte Lipstick in Mulberry: This was not for me at all. The color was too brown for my liking and it had an almost metallic finish to it. It layered horribly. Try at your own caution. Maybe a nuder color would be better.

And now on to the list of things that I hope to finish by the end of the month:

Maybelline Dream Lumi Highlighting Concealer
Urban Decay Perversion Mascara Sample
Chanel No 5 Perfume Sample
Bare Minerals Pop of Passion Lipstick in Pink Passion
Ulta Mineral Lip Gloss in Sheer Opal
Nyx Matte Lipstick in Pure Red
Urban Decay Naked Lip Gloss in Sesso

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation Sample
Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow Primer Sample

#ProjectPan May 2017

Me oh my am I determined to get my lip products under control. It's basically me decluttering at this point rather than actually using, but these lip products I've had for a while, so I don't feel as bad. Also, to sum up the lip products, unless they stand out to me as not wearing well (fading unevenly, clumping oddly, etc), or the color doesn't suit me, I generally love/make the color work.
I've also used up quite a few skin care products that I wasn't expecting to finish.
Things I've Used Up:
Joico Color Infuse Red Shampoo: I bloody love this stuff. I claim this is the thing that makes my hair stay red as long as it does. Not only does it have color-lasting powers, but it cleans your hair and actually makes it feel clean. Huge plus in my book. I'm still undecided how long I want to keep my red hair, but if I ever decide to keep it, or go back to red, this is the first thing I'm gonna pick up.
Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream: This was a sample that I foun…

#ProjectPan June 2017

This month has been fairly tame with finishing things. I'm finding that I'm finally reaching the end of some of my powders and foundations. I'm also doing great with decluttering the lip collection. There's also a bit of face things in there, so hopefully a little something for everyone.
Products I've Used Up: Dermalogica Pre-Cleanse (30 mL): This is truly life changing. Well, not really, but it took off my makeup exceptionally well and I would happily repurchase this again.  Charlotte Tilbury Magic Night Cream (1.5 mL): I liked how it made my skin feel, but if you over do it, it can still feel tacky in the morning, which wasn't fun. I'm gonna stick with my samples of serums and creams for now.  Maybelline Dream Pure BB: I'm not too fussed with foundations, so I got on with this fairly well. It's a light coverage, but with the right brush, it could be a medium coverage. It lasts a good while. My only complaint is that towards the end, it separated a bi…

#ProjectPan April 2017

At this point I've nearly given up on predicting what I will end up finishing in a month, but I'll still try. As always, it's going to be filled with skin care and lip products, but they are the most important!
What I used up in March: L'Oreal Pure Clay Mask (The Red One): Amazing. Gentle enough to use after using an exfoliating cleanser. Makes my skin super soft. Only downside is that it's a bit messy.  Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow Primer (Sample): The sample definitely had more than one use it in, but very glowy. Looks like you highlighted your entire face. Better for the dry-skinned people.  Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation in Beige (Sample): When you build it up enough, and with the right brush, this can be a pretty full coverage foundation. Also a very dewy look.  Blistex Medicated Lip Ointment: This stuff was my holy grail for the longest time. The medicated part actually helps heal your lips and is perfect after a long day of using matte lipsticks. Also perfe…
